The Viola picked up an important three points away to Como, with Miriam Longo hitting a brace.

The visitors wasted no time in making their mark and soared into a 2-0 lead after only four minutes. First it was Zsanett Kajan after only 18 seconds before Miriam Longo doubled Fiorentina’s lead by getting on the end of a cross.

On what was a rainy day Como struggled to react and despite not conceding for the rest of the first half fell further behind through Longo’s second of the day after 58 minutes.

Despite conceding two late goals, Fiorentina held on to grab an important victory against a side which had already caused Juventus and Milan trouble so far this season.
