Albert Gudmundsson underwent diagnostic imaging tests on Wednesday to determine the extent of the injury he picked up during Fiorentina’s match against Lecce on Sunday, October 20.
The tests revealed that the 27-year-old has suffered a grade I/II injury affecting the myotendinous junction of the biceps femoris in his right thigh.
The footballer is now on the road to recovery, at the hands of club medical staff.
